Essential Qualification 

Educational Qualification for the Indian Army NCC Recruitment 

• Bachelor’s Degree with 50% aggregate marks minimum.
• Final Year Students: Eligible to apply if they have secured 50% aggregate marks in the first two/three years of their degree course. However, they must secure 50% aggregate marks in their final year as well.

Additional Requirements:

• served for at least 2-3 years in the Senior Division/Wing of NCC
• NCC ‘C’ Certificate (minimum ‘B’ Grade).

For Wards of Battle Casualties:

• NCC ‘C’ Certificate is NOT required.

Age Limit and Relaxation 

As of 1st July 2025 

• Minimum Age: 19 years (Born before 1st July 2006)
• Maximum Age: 25 years (Born after 2nd July 2000)
• Age Relaxation: No Age Relaxation for any category.

The Indian Army NCC Special Entry Scheme 2025 provides a golden opportunity for all eligible candidates who are NCC cadets or wards of battle casualties to join the prestigious Indian Army as a Short Service Commission Officer. • Certification: Upon completion, cadets receive a Post Graduate Diploma in Defence Management and Strategic Studies from University of Madras

Salary/Benefits 

During Training:

• Stipend: ₹56,100 per month

After Commissioning (Rank: Lieutenant):

• Basic Pay: ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500 per month
• Military Service Pay: ₹15,500 per month (fixed)

Additional Benefits:

• Dearness Allowance (DA), Field Area Allowance, Siachen Allowance, Flying Allowance (for eligible roles), Uniform Allowance, Transport Allowance

Insurance Coverage:

• During training, cadets are insured for ₹1 crore under the Army Group Insurance Fund (AGIF).
