The North Eastern Railway (NER) has announced the NER Recruitment 2025 notification for all eligible candidates to apply for the Apprenticeship Training program under the Apprentices Act, 1961. There are 1104 vacancies for different trades/Workshops/Units, as given below in detail. Interested candidates can apply online from 24th January 2025, and the last date for submission is 23rd February 2025.

Essential Qualification for NER Recruitment 2025:
Educational Qualifications:
- Passed 10th class with minimum 50% marks.
- ITI in related trade.
Age Limit:
As of 24 January 2025
- Minimum Age: 15 years
- Maximum Age: 24 years
- Age relaxation:
- OBC- 3 Years,
- SC/ST- 5 Years

How to Apply Online:
The application process for the NER Recruitment 2025 is online on North Eastern Railway’s official website at https://ner.indianrailways.gov.in/. All eligible candidates can apply online before the closing date of 24th February 2025. Ensure to read the official notification before applying online.
Mode of Selection for NER Recruitment 2025:
The selection process for the candidates will be based on the
- Merit List prepared considering the Average Percentage of marks obtained in both 10th class and ITI in related trade, giving equal weightage for both.
- Candidates may apply for multiple Workshops/Units, but selection will be based on the candidate’s average percentage marks and availability of vacancies.
- Based on the Merit list candidates will be shortlisted for the Document Verification at Gorakhpur. Required documents include:
- Printout of online application
- Medical Certification in prescribed format
- Four passport-size photos
- Original certificates mentioned or uploaded online.
- Those candidates who pass the Document Verification successfully will be allotted in different workshops/units for the Apprentice Training.
